Method
- Heat olive oil on medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add sliced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes -until fragrant, not brown.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and bruschetta- or additional diced tomatoes if not using bruschetta- and basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add in wine and apple sauce.
- Simmer on low for about 30 minutes.
