Saucy Apples

Ingredients
  

  • 6 organic apples peeled, cored and chopped 1/4 inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons corn starch
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Melt vegan butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  • Place chopped apples into skillet pan with melted butter and cook until just tender. (about 10 minutes.)
  • Mix cornstarch into water and then add to skillet with apples. Next, stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Bring to a boil for about 2 minutes and stir occasionally. Remove from heat and serve warm or cold.
